Edge
grain construction takes the flat sawn board and cuts it into long thin
rails and then joins the faces together giving the “edges� the top face
of the surface.
Edge grain shows mostly
the long grain lines with some beautiful variations. Edge grain
construction is very strong, stable and a cost effective solution to the
traditional end grain butcher block.
